GENERAL AND OVERSIZED CARGO
In 2026, Arbue had the opportunity to assist in one of the most significant cargo operations in Ushuaia in recent years: the discharge of the main equipment for the city’s new thermoelectric power plant, transported from China aboard the COSCO vessel COSCO SHIPPING JIXIANG.
With more than 6200 tons of equipment and over 1800 pieces of cargo, the operation was far from routine. Our team handled all kinds of cargo, including several oversized and complex pieces that put our coordination, teamwork and efficiency to the test.
It was a demanding operation, but also a great opportunity to be part of a project that will play an important role in Ushuaia’s energy future.
CONTAINER OPERATIONS
We posses our container spreader bars for stevedoring operations, and count with our own workshop for spreader repairs.
DISCHARGE OF PET RESINS
Being the only supplier with hanger tools for lifting of heavy bags, Arbue has participated on the first discharge of PET resins in the port of Ushuaia.
CRUISE OPERATIONS
We assist cruises on luggage and provisions loading/unloading, garbage disposal, port cleaning and other activities.
